The street became the main street of Dubrovnik during the 13th century and its current appearance was created after the 1667 earthquake demolished many parts of the city. The Stradun is the main street of Dubrovnik and it runs for over 300 meters through the city’s old town. The walls are seen in several scenes in Game of Thrones, including the Battle of Backwater Bay in season two. The City Walls of Dubrovnik are one of the first things that come to mind when tourists think of the Croatian city. San Lawrenz is the nearest town and has accommodation.
